Chances and Services for Youth (CASY) has exceptional programs for children and families and serves as a resource and safe space for many who need it, and I. LOVE. THAT. But what CASY has done for me is open my eyes to an incredible community that we now call home.
Originally from Putnam County, I was offered a job at CASY in 2011. I remember thinking that the job sounded great, but I wasn't thrilled about relocating to Terre Haute. Fast-forward to today, and my husband and I have fallen in love with our community. We've found friends we consider family, been inspired by and invested in programs to better our community, and been continually surprised by the passion and generosity we find here every day.
I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for that job offer at CASY more than 11 years ago. Please help me give back to an organization that I can't possibly repay for opening the doors to a beyond fulfilling life here in Terre Haute.
